Run For Europe Launch Campaign
In my capacity as an audio engineer, I directed and recorded the voice-over and breathwork performances, which were essential elements to be seamlessly integrated into the final edit. “Run for Europe” tells the inspiring story of Raphael’s remarkable journey to run a marathon in every European Union country. This documentary project is a poignant reminder of the significance of preserving and celebrating the unique qualities that unite Europe while emphasizing the profound power of connecting people through a shared experience.
Creative Approach
In pre-production, I planned thoroughly, discussing the documentary’s tone and messaging with the director and conducting a detailed script analysis. Effective collaboration ensured open feedback and communication with the director and talent to elicit the desired emotions in performances.
Recording & Editing
I conducted recording in a controlled environment using professional equipment and a sound treatment setup that effectively eliminated potential unwanted sounds and reflections. The editing and mixing process focused on refining dialogue for seamless integration within the project.
Challenges
Capturing emotional depth in voice-over and breathwork was challenging, but meticulous script analysis and real-time feedback ensured alignment with visuals and narrative. The result is a product I’m truly proud of.
